Field Security Capabilities Enhancement Project (FSCEP)

InterWorks developed learning materials and activities for the Field Security Capabilities Enhancement Project (FSCEP) upon specific request by UNHCR GLDC, EMLU/SMLU. The FSCEP provides a range of learning opportunities for locally/national recruited field security staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in five key areas:

  1. Core security skills
  2. Analysis skills
  3. Communication skills
  4. Humanitarian awareness and understanding
  5. Operational Planning Skills

The project consisted of developing a variety of modules using Articulate 360 course authoring tools for Field Security staff to complete on their own schedule. In addition to the modules, InterWorks conducted a number of webinar offerings for staff to practice specific communication skills (security briefings and presentations). The modules included Security Risk Management Process, Security Coordination, Security Briefing Skills, Security Budgeting, Critical Incident Management, Business Continuity Planning, and Contingency Planning.
