Early Recovery Cluster Training Programme

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) | 2008

InterWorks developed training materials and facilitated workshops on the “theory and practice” of early recovery after conflict and disasters for UNDP in 2008.

There were two training audiences: Early Recovery Advisors/Coordinators (individuals drawn from several UN Country Teams with expertise in early recovery) and Programme Officers (individuals from UN agencies whose responsibilities included developing and monitoring programming related to early recovery. Planning for the above workshops was preceded by a “design workshop” attended by an advisory group of early recovery experts that identified leadership, coordination and early recovery knowledge, skills and attitudes required by Early Recovery Advisors/Coordinators, UN Country Teams and UNDP country staff for each workshop topic.
