InterWorks conducted a Food Security Cluster Coordination training (in French) for the World Food Programme and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in Bamako, Mali in March 2012. The four day workshop, attended by 25 participants from NGOs and UN agencies across Africa, was designed to train attendees to lead or participate in Food Security Clusters during major emergencies where the Cluster System is activated. Clusters are groups of humanitarian organizations (UN and non-UN) working in the main sectors of humanitarian action.
