UNESCO April 2011
Interworks conducted a Post-Conflict and Post-Disaster (PCPD) Preparedness Training in Amman, Jordan. The workshop was based on the previous regional workshops conducted in 2009 in Bangkok, Santiago and Maputo and was modified slightly to include two sessions related to the UN Post Conflict Needs Assessment (PCNA) and Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) processes. The purpose of the workshop was to provide participants with vital PCPD-related knowledge and tools to assist them in preparing and planning for a UNESCO integrated response in post-conflict and post-disaster settings within the larger national or United Nations/IASC humanitarian response.
Excellent and varied facilitating techniques. Very enjoyable workshop thanks to the hard work and input from facilitators to each session.
