UNESCO Jul 2011
InterWorks designed and conducted a Post-Conflict Post-Disaster workshop for UNESCO in Paris from 11-13 July 2011. The purpose of the workshop was for participants to familiarize themselves with the UN humanitarian system and response mechanisms and UNESCO’s PCPD responses and to raise awareness within HQ of the role and support HQ can provide to Field Offices in PCPD situations. Participants included staff members from all UNESCO sectors (Education, Science, Social Science, Culture and Communication and Information), central services, the Geneva Liaison Office and the Office of the Director General.
It was great the way that the workshop was organized and the interaction! This was the best way of learning this subject. I really appreciated that.
