InterWorks facilitated a Regional Training and Knowledge Needs Assessment workshop in Jakarta, Indonesia from 28-29 September 2011. Representatives from eight of the 10 ASEAN Members States attended.
The workshop included short informational presentations on AADMER, the AHA Center, knowledge management systems and the results of a needs assessment survey sent prior to the workshop. During the workshop the participants prioritized and identified the training topics to be incorporated into a program of training in Disaster Risk Reduction for member ASEAN states.
