
DeVon Solomon
DeVon Solomon’s international relief and development work has included duties in emergency relief, humanitarian assistance, disaster response and preparedness, as well as post-disaster recovery and reconstruction. The majority of his work experience has been within the United Nations system, having worked with UNDP, OHCHR, ILO and FAO. He has lived and worked in approximately 10 countries throughout Africa, Europe, the United States and the Pacific Islands.
DeVon is a dedicated international development professional with hands-on experience managing multi-million dollar national and regional development projects with international, governmental, and non-profit organizations, with specific implementation experience in field missions in Africa. Beyond his UN experience, DeVon has also worked in the field with the United States Peace Corps, USAID, the FDNY and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
He is a native English speaker but is conversant in French, Italian and I-Kiribati.
