Ellen Geisler

Ellen Geisler specializes in facilitation, community development, training and small agro-business development. She has worked as an assistant professor of Community Resource Development for extension services at the University of Wisconsin, facilitating civil deliberative dialogue and working with local community advocates to enhance health, safety and economic opportunities in their communities. Internationally, she has worked in agricultural, economic and community development, and training roles in Colombia, Paraguay, Nigeria and the Comoros. She also owns and manages a beekeeping business and a strategic stakeholder engagement consultancy. Ellen holds an MS in Forestry, and a BA in Latin American Studies. Fluent in English, she also has a strong working knowledge of Spanish and Guarani, and speaks conversational French.
