United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Apr 2010
InterWorks facilitated a strategic prioritization retreat for the United Nations Country Team UNDAF process in Cairo, Egypt April 12-15, 2010. The retreat was developed to provide participants with information, knowledge and tools to help them support their UNCT and partners in the planning and implementation phase of the Common Country Programming Process in key areas such as: Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) and Results Based Management (RBM); facilitating and serving as a resource for the UNDAF in-country roadmap workshop(s) and consultations; and providing continued support to the various phases of UNDAF preparation, including country analysis, priority settings, strategic planning and monitoring and evaluation.
The group work was organized in a participatory way using non-boring methodology. I am so happy that we went away from the classical group work where some dominate others, and I learned some new ideas to duplicate when I do training myself.
