InterWorks led the IASC Emergency Team Leadership Programme (ETLP) online training, organized by UNHCR DESS on behalf of the IASC from 17-21 July 2023 via the Zoom conferencing platform. At the request of the IASC, UNHCR serves as the institutional home for the ETLP by facilitating the tendering, overseeing the design, and ensuring the delivery of the learning program. The ETLP is an interagency blended training programme which reinforces individual team leadership competencies and fosters effective, efficient and professional leadership in humanitarian emergency team settings. Field Security Capabilities Enhancement Project (FSCEP)

Regional Situational Emergency Training (SET)

InterWorks designed and conducted the regional Situational Emergency Training (SET) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 6-8 December 2022. The workshop was conducted for UNHCR and its government and NGO counterparts, to strengthen the capacities of UNHCR and its partners to prepare for and respond to refugee emergencies in the east Africa region. Basics of International Humanitarian Response On-line (BIHR)

InterWorks conducted a UNHCR eCentre “Basics of International Humanitarian Response” (BIHR) workshop in Fort Dhanarajata, Thailand from 6-14 November 2022. Virtual humanitarian response simulation

For UNHCR’s online Workshop on Emergency Management, InterWorks designed a virtual simulation exercise to enhance participants’ capacity in interagency coordination, shelter response, negotiating with government authorities and security awareness. The online exercise ran over four days, starting on Friday 21 October 2022, and continuing the following Monday-Wednesday, from 24-26 October 2022. Read more

Safety in the Field (SIF) Exercise
