Team
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
Programs can be managed, but a team must be led! While
it is clear that program effectiveness is directly linked
to the quality of the team, experience shows that the
success of that team is inherently tied to the competence
and effectiveness of its leader. Our learning programs
and trainings enhance the participant’s understanding
of how a leader can impact team dynamics and performance.
Participants in our training identify their strengths
and weaknesses as leaders and work on strengthening their
team leadership competencies (e.g. situational leadership,
teambuilding, direction setting, decision-making, setting
direction and communicating purpose, having influence,
practicing emotional intelligence, communication, etc.).
In addition to “team leadership” InterWorks
has designed and facilitated learning programs and workshops
on other key interpersonal skills including: negotiation
skills, presentation and communication skills, team facilitation,
meeting management and coaching.
