InterWorks designed and conducted a Training of Trainers for Humanitarian Emergency Team Leadership workshop from Dec 8-11, 2015, in San Salvador, El Salvador.
The purpose of the 4-day workshop was to train participants, responsible for conducting future trainings, on humanitarian emergency leadership competencies in order to help participants gain greater self-awareness as emergency team leaders and refine skills which help them build, influence and lead a cohesive, effective and dedicated team.
The workshop was interactive and employed a variety of adult learning methodologies including interactive and participatory discussion, opportunities to provide additional recommendations and ideas for future trainings and desktop exercises and practical application cases based on real-life examples. Materials for future workshops were further revised based on interactive feedback and recommendations by participants.
