United Nations System Staff College Dec 2018
InterWorks provided workshop design and facilitation services to the UN System Staff College from 4-5 December 2018 in Dakar Senegal as part of their partnership with United Nations Office for West Africa
and the Sahel to gather key partners in the region to help shape the objectives and design of an initiative to build capacities and strengthen regional grassroots women’s groups in conflict analysis and peacebuilding, based on tools developed for the UNOWAS Conflict Analysis Handbook and ECOWAS Conflict Prevention Framework. The event brought together representatives from UNOWAS, ECOWAS Gender Center, UN Women, West Africa Network for Peacebuildings (WANEP) and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), and representatives of UN supported Women’s network in Niger, Nigeria, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire and Togo.
